Tomas A Edison 💡

Thomas Edison was born in Milan Ohio , and grew up in Port Huron , Michigan.

Who: Tomas A Edison "The Wizard of Menlo Park"

What: He developed many devices that greatly influenced life around the world including the phonograph, motion picture camera and a long-lasting, practical electric light bulb.

When: The first successful test was on October 22, 1879 it lasted 13.5 hours

We're: New Jersey

Why: we would not have the great technology we have now.

John D Rockefeller

Who: John D Rockefeller: born on August 8 1839 and died on May 23 1937 was an American business magnate and a person who likes to donate to others .

What: organized the first oil company.He was a co-founder of the Standard oil Company it was the first oil industry, and was the first great U.S. business.

When:In 1870, he co-founded Standard Oil Company and ran it until he retired in 1897.

We're: In June 1870, Rockefeller formed Standard Oil in Ohio.

Why: with out his standard oil company we really wouldn't have oil company's or any of that.

He was the founder and former chairman of the standard oil company

What:who became a labor union leader and a figure amarican labor history and

was the organization's president from 1886 to 1894

Chinese laborers

Who:the Chinese laborers, the U.S. consisted of three major waves, with the first beginning in the 19th century. Chinese immigrants in the 19th century worked as laborers, particularly on the rail roads

What:the Chinese people immigrants worked hard and long days working on a rail road.

When :mostly around the 19 century

Where:around North America

Why:because doing this was Cheeper than having to have other people work on it. And they could work longer hours
