Reproduction is the formation of new individuals, Sexual Reproduction involves two parents. Its important cause its the continuation of a species.
Female Reproductive system
The main function of the female reproductive system is to produce ova. In addition, the female reproductive system prepares the females body to nourish a developing embryo.
The following terms for the female reproductive system.
The Ovaries produce only one egg each month.
The Fallopian tubes Transports the egg into the Cavity of the organ known as the Uterus.
The Vagina is a canal that leads outside the body.
The Uterus is an organ of the Female Reproductive system in which a fertilized egg ca develop.
What Occurs during the Female Menstrual Cycle.
An egg is developed during Ovulation then is released from the Ovary then If Fertilized then gets implanted in the Uterus if not Fertilized then gets discharged with the lining of the Uterus. Ovulation is the process in which an egg is released from the ovary.
Menstruation is a phase of the menstrual cycle during which the lining of the uterus, along with blood and the unfertilized egg, is discharged through the vagina.
Changes in the Hormone levels- the hormones coordinate the changes to make the body have sexual reproduction possible.
The Male Reproductive system.
One of the functions of the male reproductive system is to produce and deliver sperm.

A sperm cell consist of a head which contains a highly condensed nucleus. And a midpiece which is packed with Mitochondria. And it has has a tail to help it move. Semen is the combination of sperm and seminal fluid.
Terms for The Male Reproductive system.
The functions of the human sperm- The head contains a highly condensed nucleus. The Midpiece is packed with Mitochondria that releases energy. And the tail propels the cell forward.
The importance of Hormones to the reproductive process.
They determine whether the embryo will develop physically into a male or female.
Human Embryonic Development
Human embryonic development occurs in the uterus. The egg is released into the fallopian tube from the ovary where it is fertilized then by day 7 it implants into the uterine wall by the end of the 3rd week the placenta starts to form. The placenta is the embryos organ of respiration, nourishment, excretion.
