Curriculum Team-Monday

Staff Meeting-Tuesday

Leadership Team-Wednesday
The leadership team will meet on Wednesday from last week.
PLC-Tue.-Thur.
There will be PLCs this week with coverage by instructional assistants. Please review the schedule and also please be on time to the meeting. Agenda has been placed in the shared folder.
Durham Bulls assembly-Friday
The Durham Bulls will be here on Thursday to do an anti-bullying assembly with our students.

Parent conferences
Please remember parents are to be offered a conference in the month of February to discuss mid-year data.
Lesson plans and walk throughs
Lesson plans will be checked this week. Please check on Tuesday for comments made and corrections needed on lesson plans. Walk throughs will also be held this week.
Progress reports
The date of the progress reports will be pushed back some. I will send out the date next week.
Digital Learning Day-February 17th
Some of you have inquired about why are we doing Digital Learning Day. If we continue to be a STEM focused school; technology is a part of who we are and what we do. Chatham County Schools is participating in Digital Learning Day as a county and are encouraging and expecting schools to participate. Keith Medlin our lead tech to organize this day. Each school that participates could receive free technology help. Dr. Jordan has been invited and accepted the invitation to come by see what we are doing for digital learning day. Other visitors may be invited. Please see what you are already doing and use the resources to enhance what you do. At some point I will be asking you what you are doing when so when visitors come at certain times I can bring them to you. Ipad cart times:

ACCESS Testing-February 19th
ACCESS Testing will take place on February 19th. A schedule will be sent out soon to everyone with times, rooms and proctor information.
Glitter and Glow-February 26th
During the leadership team meeting it was discussed how important the whole day planning was to teachers. In order to hold another whole day planning we decided that we will hold another Glitter and Glow dance. We will need all hands on deck so it will be a required event for all certified staff. The dance will be held on february 26th and all of the money will go toward paying for the subs for a second whole planning day.

Please make sure you schedule a meeting with me to discuss your mid year data during your planning or after school time this month. Thank you to everyone that has done so already.
