Engaging children of all ages in conversations about their school day is likely one of the least productive conversations parents across the world have with their children. As it turns out, we are going about it all wrong! Making small changes to how you are initiating those conversations can bring out big responses of your children. Try using open-ended questions that elicit more than a simple one, or two word response. This list of 29 Ways to Ask you Kid, “How was school today?” is a great reference point when trying to get your kids to talk about their day.

October 9-13 is National School Lunch Week. We will have a different taste test every day of the week. Please invite parents to come and see how wonderful the school food is and to enjoy our taste test. Lunch for adults is $3.50.
Don't forget Breakfast and Lunch are free for students. I would love to see more students eating breakfast and take advantage of the free meal. If you aren't hungry at breakfast, you can put it in your backpack and save it for later!
