There is a strong relationship between academic achievement and a child's physical, emotional and mental health.

School health services provide primary prevention aimed at keeping students in school through appropriate screenings, early identification of children at risk for physical, emotional and mental health concerns, and case management of students with chronic health concerns.

HHOMA invites students to participate in creative contests to honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.

Students throughout West Virginia are invited to create original poster art, music, films, or essays to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

All essays, music, and film entries must be received before midnight on Nov. 15. Poster entries must be received no later than Dec. 1.

Face Coverings to Continue Week of October 4th for Berkeley County Schools

Today, October 1st, the community transmission rate remains High. Per guidance by the Berkeley-Morgan County Board of Health (BCBH), face coverings will be required by all persons in Berkeley County Schools/Offices/Buildings next week, Monday, October 4th through Sunday, October 10th. At this time, face coverings must be worn on school buses per federal requirement under the CDC regardless of transmission rate.
