Interpreter Needed for Conferences- March 8th
Below is the sign-up sheet for March 8th conferences where an interpreter is needed. If you are meeting with Martha, then she will be your interpreter. Otherwise, please sign up for a time. If you have already sent out a time to the parents and there is conflict with another teacher, let me know and we will work it out. Readers Needed in Kindergarten
Have 10 minutes? Need a break from a stressful day?
Readers are needed in Kindergarten 😊
We are calling on you all to help our Kindergarten readers make-up their Reading Steps. Have 10 minutes? Need a break from a stressful day? Come on down to the kindergarten hallway! Each teacher has Catch-up bottles on their doors. Simply pull one or two names, ask for the students and read them a book. There is a book basket with books to read, or you can bring your own. Once you finish, place a check or a smiley face on a space on the student’s card, and send them back to class.

Black History Month
To celebrate February as Black History Month, I have attached 10 little known Black History Facts that I think your students may find super interesting! I also included Presidential Contributions to Black History, this can be used as a discuss starter with your students as we lead into Presidents' Day.
I know the instructional day is super busy but if you're interested, throughout this month you could read and have a discussion with your students on one or all 10 of the articles attached (maybe during social studies time).
The information attached is far from exhaustive so if you would like additional classroom resources on Black History or about what I have attached visit:

or

If you would like to schedule a time this month for Mrs. Patterson to come to your class and lead a discussion with your students on one of the topics, she would be glad to, just let her know!
