Academic Goals
M- I can measure this goal by reviewing my homework, and keeping track of it, using my workbook to help me measure where I am in my goal.
A- The actions I will take to achieve this goal are, to sleep on time so I have a fresh mind in the morning, and and I will work harder when studying and become more focused throughout the day during class and other times because it is hard for me to be focused on one thing in class.
R- This is a doable, and realistic goal because getting a 90 or higher on my next tests and final exam because if I make a schedule which can sort out my day and organize, it will be much easier for me to get a 90.
T- I have from now until the end of the semester to achieve this goal. Also after that I will have a habit of the schedule and focusing in class.
Volunteering Goals
M- I can measure this goal by waking up early in the morning, and using an alarm clock to wake me up. I will use a tracking sheet which the school gave me to fill in for my volunteer hours.
A- I will try to volunteer for as many hours I need to get 40 hours minimum. I will sleep early on time, and wake up early because the volunteering starts at 7:30 in the morning, I will get there by 7:15 so I can be one of the first people to start participating and start my hours fast.
R- This goal is realistic and doable because I am used to waking up early and I also can during the summer if I have to achieve a goal which is required for me to do before I graduate from school. This will create a habit for me to wake up early and work hard.
T- I want to achieve this goal by the end of summer vacation because I want to complete these hours before I move to Brantford in August since it will be important for me to do them before I move there.

Challenges and Solutions
Being a marketing research analyst can be hard at times. It is a boring job and can be stressful at times. There are many challenges but the 2 important ones I will talk about are being stressful and having bad clients.
To start off, the job of a marketing research analyst is stressful at times, because the job is so boring, the worker can feel stress at times and that can affect their daily life and the way they are around others. The job usually does not have a heavy work load but not having to do anything for a few hours can be boring and lead to stress. It just does not affect the way you are at work it also changes your behavior around friends and family. This issue is with a lot of other jobs but it is very common to a marketing research analyst. There are many solutions to fixing this problem such as being happy at work, and taking breaks. Those are the 2 most useful methods of not stressing. Other ways include; eating healthy or eating a lot, showering, sleeping, stretching, doing yoga, deep-breathing, or taking a break are great ways to get your mind off of stress.
Another problem a marketing research analyst may face is having substandard clientele. For example a client may keep bothering you and/or request reports before the deadline that you have given them. That is a very common issue for marketing research analysts from their clients. Clients may bother you a lot and that is why most marketing research analysts try to get jobs in a company instead of a client firm. There are not many solutions to this issue but to be strict with a client. That option is most useful because the client may then stop asking you to rush their work but also it gives you a risk of losing business. The other option on the other hand is to start working for a company. Working for a company gives benefits and you are not rushed to do your work.
The last issue that marketing research analysts may face is working extra hours if they don’t finish their work. Working extra hours sometimes does not give them pay because they might have to do it at home. That is very bad because they do not get to spend time with their family and have their own personal time. The solution for this is simple. Get your work done when you are supposed to (during work hours). This will not make you work extra hours and make you waste time at home. Simple reports do not take that long, they are about 4-5 hours of work if they are really detailed and explanatory.
In conclusion, working as a marketing research can be very stressful at times but it is easy to take control of. Great use of time and not delaying your work will help you be happy and succeed in your job.
