The Monster
The monster is created by Victor Frankenstein while at the University of Ingolstadt. Being "Formed into a hideous and gigantic creature," the monster faces rejection from inputting fear into his creator and society. He’s an example of a scientific experiment going horribly wrong. He acquires humane characteristics, even compassion for his "adopted" family, the De Lacey's. But since he was never accepted, he finds revenge by murdering.The creature also begins to learn about himself and his sole purpose of being brought into the world.
