Demons
Demons are malevolent spirits created by Lucifer. They are created from corrupted human souls that have endured extensive torture in Hell by Alistair and other demons. Similar to Angels, they require a vessel to walk the Earth, though are able to roam in their smoke form.
Angels
Angels are powerful, celestial beings created by God to serve as his attendants and messengers, but also as soldiers in war against Lucifer and his demons. They are native to Heaven and are imbued with both Holy white light as well as considerable power. Their true form is nothing less than that of Holy, righteous beings which are beautiful as well as hazardous, overwhelming, and terrifying all at the same time; ranging from two to six (maybe more) large feathered wings on their backs, four animalistic heads with halos of light around them, and heights as tall as skyscrapers.
Leviathan
The Leviathans were ancient, primordial monsters and God's very first beasts. The creatures proved to be too hungry and destructive, so God created Purgatory and locked them inside. A Leviathan's true form is just black goop.
Four Horseman of the Apocalypse
They can manifest by mimicking human form, which can be harmed in manners identical to humans. War seemed to have last manifested a long while ago, the other Horsemen (except Death, who had to be freed) came trotting behind him. They are respectively known as: Famine, War, Death, and Pestilence. Each use a special ring that channels their core ability, without which, their physical forms loose most, if not all of their powers. The only power they have shown to be capable of without their rings, is teleportation. Also, they each travel in a car (colored to resemble their steed's color in lore), in having gotten "with the times."
- Famine travels in a black Cadillac Escalade
- War travels in a cherry red Mustang
- Pestilence travels in a green Hornet Wagon
- Death drives a pale gray 1959 Cadillac Series 62
Eve
Eve was a mysterious and powerful being known by the title of Mother of All. She was in Purgatory. Eve was later killed by Dean.
Reapers
Reapers are angels that serve Death. They assist in maintaining the Natural Order and used to be thought as completely neutral, aligned with neither Heaven nor Hell nor Purgatory, although now that it is shown that they are angels, it is assumed they work for Heaven. According to Castiel, Reapers will sometimes appear in mass gatherings in prelude to a great disaster such as the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in Pompeii.
Dragons
Dragons are a very rare race of supernatural creatures that have not been hunted or even seen in 700 years. In fact, they are so rare that most veteran hunters (like Bobby Singer) dismiss their existence as purely fictional. They are similar to traditional dragons in lore, but, whilst in confined spaces, they appear more like humanoid creatures rather than the winged beasts shown in traditional art. There are descriptions of them appearing as giant bat-like creatures when in their true forms.
Werewolf
Werewolves, also known as Lycanthropes, are a race of partially-human supernatural creatures, able to morph into combination of human and wolf, that have been encountered by hunters such as Sam and Dean Winchester. It has been stated that werewolves and skinwalkers are cousins. There is no known cure for lycanthropy.
Skinwalker
Skinwalkers are supernatural dog-like creatures that were encountered by the Winchester Brothers and other hunters. Skinwalkers are the cousins of werewolves, and they can turn into animals.
All skinwalkers originate from the Alpha Skinwalker.
Hellhounds
Hellhounds are beasts of the supernatural, which are known to serve demons. Described as demonic pittbulls, Hellhounds are ferocious, terrifying entities that inspire fear in humans, demons and even angels.
- Hellhounds can collect the souls of the damned
- According to Crowley, no demon knows Hellhounds better than him
Arachne
An arachne is a creature that can create strong webs, just like real spiders do, so they can trap their victims with ease. They are also capable of changing humans into aracnhes by biting them, in order to propagate their species. Arachnes can even kill humans with poisoning them through their bites. It is implied that they feed on human flesh, but this has not been confirmed visually. Their vision is also like that of actual spiders; due to their multiple eyes, their field of vision is split into several images.
Phistaco
Phishtacos are fat-eating creatures rarely seen in the United States. They are similar to vampires, but feed only on human fat. They survive entirely upon it, and seem to posses a great hunter for it. Unlike vampires, which are regarded by the Phishtacos as killers, Phishtacos are more like parasites and do not hunt down their own prey to feed. However, some Phishtacos do hunt humans for their fat. Just like most other monsters, they look completely human, but their eyes roll back and reveal an elongated sucking appendage that they release from their mouth when they feed.
Changelings
Changelings are humanoid creatures with discolored, slimy skin, hollow eyes, and a round mouth with many teeth. They can appear human, but their true nature is revealed in reflection. They feed on humans, specifically on synovial fluid.
Weaknesses:
- Fire - Setting a Changeling on fire will kill it
- Family - Killing a mother Changeling will cause its children to die instantly
- Mirrors - A Changeling's true form is revealed in mirrors
Rakshasa
Rakshasas are creatures from Hindu mythology and are very nasty. They eat human flesh, sleep on a bed of dead insects, and are great at shapeshifting. A Rakshasa cannot enter a house without first being invited.
Weaknesses:
- Brass - A Rakshasa can be killed with a brass knife
- Invitation - A Rakshasa cannot enter a home without being invited in
Daeva
Like Hellhounds, Daevas are beings used by demons as invisible killers. While they are invisible, Daevas appear as humanoid shadows.
Weaknesses:
- Cannot manifest without shadows
- Extreme light
Fairies
Fairies are mischievous supernatural beings that come in a variety of forms. They can only be seen by those who have been to their realm, or when they chose to be seen.
Weaknesses:
- Iron - Fairies hate iron as it is proven to be harmful against them (even though it does not kill them)
- Silver - This can be used against Dark Fairies-- as they burn when they are touched with silver
- Items that have multiple grains - If someone pours any substance that has multiple grains in front of them, they have to stop and count each grain one-by-one
- Radiation - If a Fairy (at least Tinks) is exposed to intense radiation they will most likely explode
- Cream - They also love cream, which, like alcohol, intoxicates them
