Running for School Board Upcoming Info Session via Zoom
Are you considering running for the PASD school board? The Phoenixville Area School District will hold two information sessions for any community members wanting to learn more about the process of running for the school board in the upcoming May 2023 primary. The information presented will be the same at both sessions. This is NOT a commitment to run…it IS an opportunity to hear from current board members and ask questions about the election process and the responsibilities involved in being a PASD school board member.

Taking the Stage...
Elementary Strings and Band Showcase
Last week the elementary schools held their winter strings and band concerts. The musicians shined brightly! Thank you to the elementary music teachers for a fabulous show and your hard work throughout the year.
This Face Says It All!
PAELC Parachute Experiment
This face says it all! Clearly the lesson was a hit! Students in Mrs. Finkbohner's class enjoyed a science experiment investigating the effects of air on objects. Students used napkins, string, tape, and paperclips to make parachutes. The parachutes were tested to see how they interacted with air. The students observed that the air pushed up against the canopy to slow it down. A great location to see the experiment in action!
