CB South's Spanish Honor Society Visits NYC
CB South's LINK Retreat
The third annual Overnight LINK Retreat was held at Diamond Ridge Conference Center on Friday, May 11 into Saturday, May 12. 43 sophomores, juniors, and seniors attended the event, along with 7 members of the South faculty and administration. The purpose of the event was to reflect on and discuss leadership, community, and positivity, all major tenets of LINK’s philosophy. Students played community-building games, participated in leadership seminars led by South teachers, and reflected on their leadership growth while at South. For our seniors, especially, the trip was quite powerful. The leaders of LINK hope that the overnight retreat empowers more students leaders to continue making CB South an important, accepting, and dynamic place to be every day.
