  • Following the Parent Group Meeting, the LaMotte School Foundation Board will meet. We are looking for new members on the Foundation board, too! Please plan to stay after the Parent Group meeting to learn about the Foundation!

Note From Mrs. Burke

Thanks for a great beginning to the New Year! The students are coming to school refreshed and ready to learn. Thanks for getting them here on time (by 8:15 a.m.), it sets the kids up for success when they are here ready to learn when the teaching begins. Thanks, too, for supporting the Hot Lunch Program! Mr. Ivester is doing a great job making nutritional lunches that the kids enjoy. Your support will ensure that this quality program will continue.

I hope to see lots of parents at the Parent Group meeting on Monday at 2:45 in the library! This is YOUR group and it's a wonderful opportunity for you to have a direct impact on our school.

Box Tops & Labels for Education Program

Welcome back to school! We will be participating in both the Labels for Education and the Box Tops for Education™ programs again this year. Send clipped labels to school with your child as you collect them and I will submit them. Sign up at BTFE.com to get coupons and stay updated on our school’s earnings. Money raised from Box Tops is used by the Parent Group to fund projects at the school and Labels earnings can be used by the teachers to get supplies for the classroom. Thanks for helping!
