FROM THE DESK OF MRS. CHARY
DECEMBER PARENTS NEWSLETTER
PRE-K 3 CLASS
Dear Parents,
The Christmas season is well upon us, and our Christmas party was a great success! Thank you very much for your participation.
This month we learned the names and sounds of letter Hh and Ii. Be sure to ask your child to count for you; we have been counting to 15. We also learned many songs and poems for the Christmas season, including "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" and "My Gift" among other favorite ones. Our December memory verses are John 3:16 and James 1:17. You will be surprised at how the children remember even long verses.
Our winter books: This winter we have been enjoying reading "The Mitten Tree" "You Can Do It Sam" and "The Biggest, Best SNOWMAN"
Special visitors this year: The children enjoyed two amazing presentations from our community State Police Troopers and Fire department, they learned that Firefighters are their friends and will help them if they are in a fire. They were able to see a firefighter put on his gears and learned not to be afraid of them. We saw a fire engine, an ambulance and they topped it off with a fun Puppet show, which tough the children safety precaution to prevent a fire.
During this busy time of the year, Let's not forget the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I would like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Chary Cruz
