Class of 2021 Senior Spotlights

We will be featuring members of the senior class over the next few weeks on our website, school facebook page, and in our weekly newsletters. Below are the first six senior spotlights.

3rd Grade Visits Akron Airport

After studying Aerospace, Randy Hayes, of Hayes Aviation, gave our 3rd graders a tour of the Akron Airport today.

Swing Dancing Class

Akron FCCLA put together swing dance classes for students in grades 6-12. Special thanks to Mollie and Ryan Drietz for the excellent instruction and FCCLA officers Gavin Brown and Katelyn Shaw for taking on this project!

4th Grade Field Trip to iFLY

Last year our 3rd graders earned funds to attend the annual field trip to iFLY in Denver. They didn’t get to go last Spring. Thanks to Mrs. Vogt and Mrs. Weis, the now 4th graders were able take the trip on Wednesday, April 7th.

Akron to Host Adaptive Basketball Game

H.S. Volleyball

The Akron H.S. Lady Ram volleyball team improved their record to 5-5 on Saturday with a hard fought victory over the Byers Lady Bulldogs. The volleyball team has played several games in a matter of a few weeks with the condensed season.
Keep up the good work players and coaches! Go Rams!!

J.H. Volleyball

Congratulations to our JH volleyball players and coaches on a successful season. The ladies played their final game at Limon last Thursday. Akron Results: A team won in two, B team lost in three and C team lost in three.

J.H. Football

The J.H. Ram football team finished their season last Thursday with a win over the Limon Badgers. Akron played 8-man on offense and 11-man defense. The final score was 50-12. We are proud of you, Rams!
