A Message from our Principal
In our prayer service this morning, we celebrated the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, when the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and asked her to be the mother of Jesus.
Mary said “yes” to God and so should we. Mary was the first disciple of Jesus and we as Catholics have a special devotion to Our Mother for not only giving birth to Jesus, but letting God use to her to further is mission.
The three pillars of Lent are: praying, fasting, and almsgiving. Each of us needs to pray more, and, pray at a consistent time of day. Whether we pray in the morning, on our lunch break, and on our knees before we go to bed, our prayers mean that we are talking with God and God speaks back---IF we are listening.
Please continue to encourage your children to collect spare change for the Catholic Relief Services Rice Bowl encounter. It’s a great was to give alms to the poor.
Thank you for your generosity with the paper drive. We brought all the items to Our Lady of Victory Convent this morning.
Stations of the Cross---Friday’s @ 2:20 pm- during Lent, with the exception of Holy Thursday, when it will be at 11:20 am.
Peace in Christ,
Dr. John Shreve

Home and School Association Meeting UPDATE!
There will be an HSA meeting on April 3rd. Meeting time of 6:30 PM.
Just a reminder that this next meeting will be one with a lot of information specifically targeting Teacher Appreciation Week. This is the biggest event for the HSA and I'd like to go over ways to make it even better than last year.
Also, please begin asking your parents for any gift card donations they would be willing to help out with. We have roughly 6 weeks before we will be needing them with an additional week for final preparations.
As always, THANK YOU so much for all the time and effort you give to our school and our teachers and our children!!!
