Dear SPASH Students and Families:


I hope that this March update finds you and your family doing well. It’s hard to believe that we are now within one week of spring break and only a couple of weeks from the end of the 3rd Quarter.


Thank you for your support and patience last Tuesday as we completed ACT testing for juniors and the post-secondary field trip for sophomores. Our juniors were outstanding in their punctuality and attendance as we only had 20 students out of the entire class who were unable to attend! We will conclude our standardized testing cycle for the year next month as our sophomores will take the PreACT (formerly the Aspire).


Sophomore and junior families: We are in the process of processing registration for the 2023-2024 school year for our returning students and will be communicating course verification lists with students in the next couple of months.


Seniors and senior families: believe it or not graduation is only eleven weeks away (Sunday, May 28, 2023)! We will be sending a special graduation newsletter in early May informing you of graduation procedures and other senior information.


Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns and we’ll work to help.

SPASH DANCE TEAM TRYOUTS!

Current 8th-11th graders register for tryouts HERE.
OPTIONAL PRE-TRYOUT PRACTICES: We will also be offering pre-tryout practices! This is your chance to experience a dance team practice before tryouts, and ask coaches questions in person! They will be held March 28th, March 30th, April 4th, and April 6th from 4:00pm-5:30pm in the SPASH South Commons.


PRE-TRYOUT PARENT/DANCER INFORMATIONAL MEETING: Each dancer should bring at least 1 parent/guardian. This will be held in the SPASH Library on April 5th beginning at 6:30pm.

TRYOUT WEEK PRACTICES: Tryout clinic practices will be in the SPASH South Commons April 10th-13th from 4:00pm-6:00pm. During these practices potential dancers will learn a couple short routines and skills.

FINAL TRYOUT: Potential dancers will sign up for a time to showcase the routines and required/additional skills in front of tryout judges in the SPASH Auditorium beginning at 4:00pm.
