Mary McClellan
John Cabot
He was born in Italy 1450 and died 1499. He discovered North America on June 24th, 1497. England gave him the money for him to take his journey. His planning was effortless when he was planning to go the North America. In Italy today he is known as Giovanni Caboto. There is only one set of documents found that has his signature. He might have been born a little bit earlier than 1450. John had gotten in some financial trouble in the late 1480s and he had left Venice.
Sir Francis Drake
Sir Francis Drake was born in the 1540s and he died January 27th 1596. His exact birthdate was not recorded but they knew he was born after the Six Articles were in force. He was born in Tavistock, Devon, England. England sponserd the money for him to take his journey. Sir Francis Drake circumnavigated the world(sailed around the world).Francis Drake married Mary Newman in 1569. At age 23 he made his first journey to the Americas with his second cousin, Sir John Hawkins.

Vasco de Gama
Vasco de Gama was born between 1460-1469 and he died December 23rd, 1524. He was a Portuguese explorer, one of the most successful in the Age of Discovery and the commander of the first ships to sail directly from Europe to India. His journey was that he found a way from Europe to India. He was sponsored to take his journey by Portugal(King Emanuel). His first trip to India is widely considered a pinnacle of world history as it marked the beginning of the first wave of global multiculturalism.
Henry Hudson
Henry Hudson was born on 1568 and he died on 1611. Details of his birth and early life are mostly unknown. Some sources have been identified. He discovered New York and north of North America. He was sponsored by the Dutch East India Company. He got an opportunity to sail to Nova scotia in the year 1609. Henry was a voyager and a route-finder. On his 1609 voyage, on september 23rd he decided to return to Europe.
