Free Electronics Recycling Event

The Next Generation IT Club will be hosting a free electronics recycling event on Monday, February 29th in Mobius Hall. This is your opportunity to free up some space in your homes and get rid of your old electronics! Do you have old electronic devices gathering dust? Unsure of what to do with your old phones, printers or laptops? The Next Generation IT club and 3R Technology is offering free e-waste disposal. Come join us for food and introduce yourself as we discuss the importance of properly managing e-waste
Here is a list of the items that will be accepted:
-TV’s & Monitors – LCD and Plasma (no CRT TVs and monitors)
-Computers & Laptops
-Servers, fax machines, copiers and scanners
-Audio Visual equipment (DVD players/VHS/Stereos)
-UPS Battery backups (no alkaline batteries)
-Telecom Equipment & cell phones
Ink and toner cartridges
-DVDs & CDs
-Keyboards & Mice
-Small parts, peripherals, cables, etc.
-Microwaves too!

Let's Get Crafty

Finals are approaching and CAB is here to help all of you to de-stress and relax with this super fun, Let’s Get Crafty event!
This event will be held on March 2nd from 5-7 PM in Mobius Hall, located in CC3. Join CAB and a few clubs to express your creativity through making crafts. There will be coloring books, mug-decorating, t-shirt decorating, and perler beads key chain making. That's not even the best part! There will also be a live performance from Paul Pfau, who was on the TV show, The Voice in 2015!

ONE simple application allows you to be considered for a Cascadia College Foundation scholarship. 25 - 30 scholarships will be awarded this year to help you achieve your goals – averaging $1,550 per award. The application and guide are available NOW on the college’s scholarship webpage. Submit your application by email at scholarships@cascadia.edu, or drop it off at the 1st Floor Information Desk or the Foundation Office (CC2-281E). The deadline is 5:00PM, March 4th, 2016. All Cascadia students and prospective students are invited to apply.
