i-Ready Testing Window Open Sept. 8th!
This year they will be taking the diagnostic assessment from home. It is imperative that you do not help your child in any way as it will skew the results and our ability to plan the right lessons for your child. It is important that they have a quiet area to work, headphones are helpful as well. Attached is a short video describing the assessment and everything you need to know to help your child have positive testing experiences.
Wacky Wednesdays - Sept. 9th &16th - No Live Instruction
Attendance
Students are expected to log on each day and interact with their peers and teachers during their scheduled time. However; if there are circumstances that prevent this from occurring, and your child is still engaging and completing work outside of the school day, that will not count as an absence.
Please note: The only way to accrue an absence is if your child does not participate in any way that day. This means they did not logon for live instruction AND did not log on and do any work independently after school hours. Students who may miss a live lesson during the day but log on late in the evenings and work on lessons will be counted as present for that school day. If there is a pattern of the child not logging in to school during the day and only working in the evenings, we will then contact the family to offer support and see if we can assist you any way.
