A Message From Our Principal
Greetings,
February is quickly coming to an end and it has been a heck of a month with this crazy weather. Hopefully the month of March treats us better! We are in the midst of Black History Month and our African American Studies class has put together several presentations which they will share with our middle schools in celebration of many great accomplishments by African American heroes.
The sophomore class had the opportunity to take their written driving test recently. I am sure they did well. I saw health teachers in the main office issuing the test scores for their driving permits. It’s a very exciting time for our young, soon to be drivers.
The Boys Swim team got their season underway this past Tuesday against the Prep. Check it out on our live sports channel! We look forward to seeing wrestling and girls volleyball begin their seasons soon. Our student athletes are enjoying the competition and have some normalcy in their lives.
Something else you can check out is the Eagle Greenery! This is our very own flower shop. If you are in need of flowers, it’s the best secret around with the best flowers. Another great place to visit at the High School is The Nest! Our very own school store which has a web page and welcomes orders, from clothing to gifts, all in one place.
Be on the lookout for the virtual presentation of this years drama production, Under the Milkwood. Students have been working hard and the production is in it’s final editing so it should be released for your viewing pleasure soon.
Until next week, stay safe, be well, continue to dream of the possibilities ahead of us, be happy and smile at someone!
Ms.Connor
