Transportation

It's Creating Air Pollution

What is tranportation?

Transportation is what people used to get around. Some examples are cars, trains, trucks, bikes, scooters, planes, ships, and motorcycles. Transportation can take place anywhere and is part of your everyday life. It can also take place in the sea because of ships and boats. Transportation started in the 1800s. The benefis that people get from tranportation is they they can get around faster. Even though there are benefits, it HARMS THE ENVIORMENT SEVERELY!

Take the train, bus, and airplane instead of cars! Beacause of this we are HURTING THE ENVIORNMENT BY CAUSING AIR POLLUTION AND BECAUSE AIR POLLUTION, PEOPLE ARE DYING AND PEOPLE ARE GETTING SICK!

What does transportation have to do with weather and climate? How humans impact the enviornment, climate, and weather?

Of course we can’t influence a single weather event, but we can and do have a long term influence on the climate that causes it. We affect weather in good amd bad ways. Climate changes will likely impact roadways, ice roads, vehicles, and railways. Higher temperatures can cause pavement to soften and expand. This can create rutting and potholes, particularly in high-traffic areas and can place stress on bridge joints. Heat waves can also limit construction activities, particularly in areas with high humidity. With these changes, it could become more costly to build and maintain roads and highways. On the other hand, certain areas may experience cost savings and improved mobility from reduced snowfall and less-frequent winter storms since warmer winters may lead to reductions in snow and ice removal, as well as salting requirements. Air pollution is the presence of high concentrations of undesirable gases and particles in the air. Although some air pollution is caused by natural processes, such as volcanic eruptions and wildfires, much is the result of human activity and is emitted by smokestacks and car exhaust systems. Some goods ways are we protect native species, controll wold fires and clean wayerways.

There are solutions to this air polluting problem

One solution to the problem is take the train or bus. Public transportion is easy and hassle free if you have a pass for the train or bus. Another solution is to ride your bike or walk. This absolutly great if you need to go somewhere that is short distance. The last solution is that you can carpool. Carpooling is easy if you go somewhere with a lot of people. Carpooling is when you and your friend take turns going somewhere as a group like to and/or from school or if you are going to the mall. For example, on Monday and Tuesday it is your turn to drop your two friends home. Then on Wednesday and Thursday, it is one of your friends turn to drop you and your other friend off. Then on Friday it is the third persons turn to drop you two off. These three solutions save the air from polluting a lot.

But the best kind of transportation is PUBLIC TRANPORTATION!!!

Possible Drawbacks

Some possible drawbacks are if the bus you were planning in using is out of service. The solution to this would you would take the trian. Another possibe drawback is that the train is delayed or canceled. The solution to this would be that you would take the bus. This does not effect any other part of the world besides the fact that air pollution from transportation takes place everywhere.
