The Google Cultural Institute is a new concept where some of the worlds greatest art collections and historical organisations have made millions of source material available in collections or on-line museums. The implications for Humanities and Arts education are huge.

Students/Teachers can curate their own collections. Many museums have used Google Street View technology so that you can actually 'walk around'. Gigapixel technology allows students to get closer to the picture then they would be able to in a musuem.
