Fiber Fair 4-H Exhibit Class
Felted Flower Pots
Saturday, April 22, 9:00-10:30 AM
Cost: $20.00
This is a multi-purpose class. Students will learn the basics of wet felting to create a flower pot. The skills learned can be used to create many different items. The class will also cover the topic of "air pruning" which is a "new" idea in growing plants and vegetables. This concept is a fast growing type of gardening which allows plants to grow faster and healthier. Commercial pots for air pruning cost as much or more than conventional pots, but can be made for a fraction of the cost using wool. Students will leave class with a potted plant in the pot they create.
This is a class for 4-H students from all counties, and preference for registration will be given to 4-H students first.

- Raise Your Hand – Complete the form at http://4-h.org/raise-your-hand to show your pride as a 4‑H alum.
- Compete for your state – Raising your hand is a vote towards a $20,000, $10,000 or $5,000 award for the states with the most alumni hands raised.
- Pay it Forward – Tweet, post and share your #4HGrown experience or support and tag fellow alumni asking them to raise their hands for their state at http://4‑H.org/RaiseYourHand.
