Parent Survey on Catholic Identity Program Effectiveness

In order to become better at educating your child(ren), we need your help! We are asking that each family complete our school survey to provide us with valuable feedback. It is only through your honest opinion that St. George can grow and become the school that you want for your child(ren). We value your privacy and will follow our confidentiality policy by not giving out parent's personal information. Therefore, parent's names will not show up on the results. We will only publish the results in numbers, percentages, and/or graphs.

You may fill out the survey using the PDF link provided below and either email it to admissions@sgcsfwtx.org or fsollie@sgcsfwtx.org. You also have the choice of printing the survey and once completed sending it to school with your child in an envelope marked SURVEY.

Boy Scout Troop 434 (St. John)

Concerned about too much screen time for your boys? Are your children looking for new fun-filled adventures? Several of St. George Catholic School's students participate in the nearby Cub and Boy Scout program sponsored by Saint John the Apostle Parish in North Richland Hills. In 2018, the Scouts’ activities ranged from the Cub Scouts of Pack 434 preparing and distributing basic needs packages with their families for the homeless to the older Boy Scouts of Troop 434 summer camping in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. A trout fishing campout south of Waco is planned for the weekend of February 9 & 10.

Cub Scout Pack 434 invites boys from 1st through 5th grade to join them; Boy Scout Troop 434 welcomes older boys ages 11-18. Through service initiatives, merit badge achievements and leadership positions, Boy Scouts of Troop 434 have had a very successful track record of reaching the Eagle Scout rank – one of the few achievements under the age of 18 that will continue to be on one’s resume even decades later in life. Join us every Monday at 7:00 pm in the meeting room next to St. John’s gym (address 7341 Glenview Drive, NRH 76180). For more information, please feel free to contact Jason Gehrig , at jfgehrig@yahoo.com or 817-614-2206.

TEACHER WISH LIST

A few parents have asked if our teachers need anything for their classrooms and they thought it would be a great idea for teachers to send out a teacher wish list. Many thanks to our St. George family and friends who might be able to fill the teachers' wishes.

You may contact the teacher directly with any information or questions you have.
