Corona High School Panther Prowl
A Tradition of Excellence - Since 1896
Greetings Panther Families,
The first quarter ends today, Friday, October 13, which means we are exactly halfway through the first semester. There is no greater time than now to communicate with your student's teachers to ensure success in the classroom. You can also reach out to counselors and administration for support. If you have not done so, you can create your own account to access and monitor your student's progress via Parent Connect. Please contact Elizabeth Maciel (emaciel@cnusd.k12.ca.us) or Anna Aceves (aaceves@cnusd.k12.ca.us) for more information.
Here's your Panther Prowl for October 13, 2017.
Antonio Gonzalez, Ed.D.
Principal
Schoolwide News
Life Changer, Mr. Niño
Mr. Jose Niño has been teaching at Corona High School since 1970. He has literally taught generations of Panthers and has had an immeasurable impact on our community well beyond our school. He has been nominated as Life Changer of the Year. Please click on the link below to submit your feedback on the impact that Mr. Niño has had in your life. For those who know him, you already know his dedication and genuine care for people and especially our students. He is a true Panther role model and is truly deserving of the Life Changer of the Year recognition!
Also, in February 2017 Mr. Niño's wife suffered a severe stroke, from which she has yet to recover. He has not returned to work since then because he has been caring for her daily. To support the man who has been so supportive of so many for so many years, a Go Fund Me account has been created to help out with medical expenses. Please support a true Panther for Life, Mr. Jose Niño!
