- 9th and 10th grade football teams will be admitted into the stadium. They are required to sit in a specific area in the upper bleachers that coaches will communicate to them.
Kindergarten Through Ninth Grade Not Allowed at Game
Because we experienced over crowding outside of the stadium, we will not allow students in grades kindergarten through ninth grade to watch home football games outside of the stadium gates.
Families who have vouchers to enter the stadium will be still be allowed entry. Student and staff safety is our priority. We believe this change will help limit crowds and allow for necessary social distancing of students in grades 10-12 who are not one of the 200 allowed into the stadium.
Grades 10-12 Guidelines
- Students who do not have a voucher cannot enter the stadium.
- Students are allowed to watch the game without parental supervision.
- Everyone inside and outside of Valley Stadium is REQUIRED to social distance and wear a face covering.
- NO FANS are allowed near Jordan Creek Elementary. (see graphic below)
- Students watching from outside the gate MUST social distance from others.

Valley vs. Waukee: Combat Hunger Virtual Fundraiser
Help Valley beat Waukee in a friendly STAR 102.5 Combat Hunger Virtual Fundraiser competition!
As a way to give back, the longtime rivals are putting their resources together to contribute to one of the largest food drives in the state. Throughout this week, Valley Student Council will collecting funds on the official fundraiser website. At Friday night’s football game, the final totals will be announced.
To assist Valley Student Council and to beat Waukee, please visit Valley's official fundraising page.
For over 30 years, Combat Hunger has provided millions of meals to central Iowans in need. This year, the fundraiser looks a little different without in-person donations due to COVID-19, but the virtual aspect remains as the most effective method of organizing. By donating money instead of food items, the food bank saves the time and resources that are incurred through a physical drive, and the money allows the bank the ability to purchase their most-needed items much faster. According to the Food Bank of Iowa, a single dollar can provide up to four meals for hungry Iowans.
