SHISD Mid-Week Message
Promoting Great Things in a Great School District
Construction has started!
As exciting as that is, the real transformation goes on every day in our classrooms. The staff of SHISD works tirelessly to provide our students with the very best education to prepare our students in academics, character, and service. Your work shows in the accomplishments I brag about each week in this newsletter and I am proud to call Spring Hill ISD home. Have a great week. -Steve Snell
Family Concerns
- Paige Childers, Julie Edney and Allison Bowles lost their father yesterday, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. There will be a graveside service at Lakeview Cemetery Friday, April 22 at 11:00am.
- Amy Doron's father is struggling with health issues, please keep her in your thoughts and prayers
Elbert Malone (maintenance), age 76, was diagnosed with cancer in the bones and lymph nodes. He starts chemo soon. He is awesome! All he is worried about is the work that needs to be done in SHISD. Talk about an inspiration.

- To Barbara Shurbet, she has helped me with rearranging money in my line-items to meet two areas of importance-staff development for summer workshops and two anti-drug assemblies (totaling $800.00). Thanks Barbara!!! - Mr. Lind
- To Wayne Noon for donating much needed office furniture to the administration building. Thank you for your support of SHISD. - Mr. Snell

Lady Panther Soccer - Great Season and District Awards
What a season for the Lady Panther soccer team. We finished 13-8-1 overall and 6-2 in district play. I want to thank everyone for your support throughout the year. This year the ladies notched the program's first playoff victory and set a school record of 13 wins.
This program started 7 years ago when both Chris and Becky Peurifoy volunteered to coach soccer. A big thank you to them for getting the players ready for what was to come. Four years ago the program went UIL. It has been an awesome journey watching the program grow and watching the girls’ team in their first year to just missing the playoffs to going 2 rounds deep in the playoffs in 4 years. We have had a lot of great talent come through the program. unfortunately, we have to say goodbye to some of that talent this year to our 4 seniors: Destiny Walker, Savannah Wulbrecht, Tara Pleasant, and Camie Copeland. These ladies will be missed. They brought leadership and great play to the team for the last 4 years.
Looking to the future we have a lot of young talent returning and high expectation for next year. - Coach BonDurant
Congratulations to the Lady Panther soccer team and Coach Todd BonDurant for their success this year!
