Introductory
Many students in America play string instruments like the Violin, Viola, Cello, and Bass. The most played instrument is the Violin and the smallest of all string instruments. The second most played is the Viola and a little bit larger than the Violin. The third most played is the Cello and is smaller than the Bass. The fourth most played and largest in size is the Bass.
Violin
The most popular played string instruments is the Violin. The violin can be also known as the fiddle. The string names highest to lowest are E, A, D and G.
Viola
The second highest instruments is the Viola. The viola is similar in material and construction to the violin. The string names highest to lowest are A, D, G, and C.
Cello
Cello's are next in the high to low instruments. The cello's string names highest to lowest are C, G, D, and A
Bass
The bass has the lowest string out of all the string instruments. The string names highest to lowest are E, A, D, G.
