Women in Tech Event for 6th-8th Girls at Launch Fishers, January 30
The Launch(ed) Women in Technology conference on January 30 will offer a chance for girls in grades 6-8 to interact with tech products and connect with professionals to introduce opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Girls can learn how robots are built, experience a virtual reality flight simulator, see innovative products such as a 3D printer in action, and meet professionals from a variety of career paths including art, medical, engineering and more. Events run from 4:30-7:30 pm; a complete schedule can be found here, as well as a link to registration.
Kaleb Chamberlin from John Young Middle School in Mishawaka made this video to mimic the daily encounters he has with his band students. Does any of it sound familiar? His video has been viewed over 119,000 times on youtube, and has recently made the rounds again on different websites. If you made a video of your typical day, what would be in it?
