Unified Sports Event

Hey Sports Enthusiasts,

Special Olympics of Washington and Microsoft have teamed up to host Upgrade Your Game, a local unified experience as a part of the Windows 10 Upgrade Your World campaign. Athletes of all ages and abilities will sharpen their football, soccer, and cheerleading skills in a series of exercises guided by Special Olympics coaches and players from Seattle Sounders FC and Seattle Sounders FC alumni. This event will serve as a fundraiser for Special Olympics. All ticket proceeds will be going toward Special Olympics programs including Unified Sports.

Saturday, March 26th

People with and without intellectual disabilities are welcome and encouraged to come out and play together in this event. Play Unified is dedicated to promoting social inclusion through shared sports training and competition experiences. Sunny Skies and Chilly Temperatures

The sun is finally coming out but that doesn't mean it warm. The children are getting antsy to take off their jackets the minute they see the sun in the sky. Spring is in the air so changing over from that winter coat to something what will keep them warm but not sweating might be helpful. As it gets warmer out of course we allow the children to take coats off but during these sunny but cold days if they ask to take off their coats we would like them to have long sleeves or a lighter something to put on and still stay warm, but not over heated. Thanks for your help with this!
