MHS Newsletter - April 8, 2022

Your news source for Mansfield High School

From the Principal's Desk...

Dear MHS Students and Families,

With the close of Quarter 3, we have officially reached the home stretch of the 2021-2022 school year. Our students are working hard both in and out of the classroom as we push toward a successful completion of the year. Our teachers and support staff are closing out grading for Q3 as they finalize planning for the remainder of the year.

This is an especially exciting time of year for the Class of 2022. Yesterday, I sent an email to all seniors and their families that laid out the schedule of major end-of-year events. I posted a copy of the email below and it will be included in a mailing that will go out next week. The mailing will also include a nice calendar of events that can be posted on refrigerators and shared with family and friends. More specific information about rehearsals, caps and gowns and the "senior stroll" will be reviewed at an upcoming assembly.

Finally, we are happy to announce that we will welcome a new principal to Mansfield High School next year. Mr. Russ Booth comes to us from North Attleboro High School and will begin serving in the role as Principal of MHS in July. Please see Superintendent Murphy's most recent newsletter for more details.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Tim Tichacek
