Veteran's Day Celebration: This year we will honor our Veterans with a celebration on MONDAY, November 6 at 8:00 a.m. The celebration will be on Monday because Ashley will be at music conference on Friday and this will allow out of town guests to stay the weekend. Be looking for more information soon!
United Way Campaign: The 2017-2018 United Way Campaign will begin on October 30-November 10. GCISD, in partnership with United Way of Tarrant County, has designed a new online pledge system this year. Each employee will receive a Kick-Off email on October 30 with all the information they’ll need to participate. Let Jamie know if you would like to serve in this capacity.

In your mailboxes today you will find a purple folder to share with your team at your next planning meeting. Inside the folder you will find ideas on how to use Depth/Complexity Icons within each of the subject areas and a few Ideas on what that could look like for each subject area. Kindergarten, Art and Music...something for you too!
5th Grade- I put parent information for upcoming GT meeting and handout for parents thinking about nominations in Dec. incase that comes up at conferences next week.
Cluster Teachers
Also, if you are a cluster teacher- please see a calendar in your box today for your class LEAD times from next week -Thanksgiving break. A few times have been adjusted to allow for conferences, field trips and teacher training. Let me know if you have a question.
TEA TIME Members
Don't forget to be planning your GT Experience this week and plan on using this lesson with your students next week. Take pictures and keep notes on successes and areas for growth to discuss at our meeting on Nov. 9th at 3:15! If you are having trouble coming up with this lesson- take a look at your grade level purple folder from today or come see me for help.
