Shoppers who attend during the daily shopping hours will need to follow our regular procedures for entry into the building:
Park, bring your id, and use the crosswalk to the main entrance.
Ring the doorbell (look to your right)
Notify staff you are visiting the book fair.
You will be “buzzed” in (the door will unlock). Enter the vestibule and provide your ID to be scanned.
Put on the name badge provided and head down to the LRC to shop!
Student Absences
If you know ahead of time your child will be missing there is also a pre-arranged absence form to complete (request from the front office). It is required to be turned in at least 2 days before the requested absence and applies for certain types of absences (family vacation, special religious events, etc.)
Bus Riders: There is NO NEED to call the transportation department to notify them of the absence. The bus driver will stop for 2 minutes at your child's stop and then continue on the route if you are not outside when they arrive. The department doesn't have staffing to field phone calls regarding absences or notify the drivers of the messages. Additionally, they need the phone line open for other purposes.

Winter Gear
If you have extra preschool-sized gently used snow pants, winter boots, or winter jackets at home please consider donating them to Fox Ridge. We would then send them home with students in need. Outdoor play continues through the cold months, weather permitting, and we are working to ensure all our students have clothes appropriate for the cold.
We want to ensure you’re getting timely alerts on inclement weather operations and other important notifications. Please take a moment to do the following:
View Notification Preferences/Enable Text Messages
District 303 will send notifications to families through the ParentLink system by text message, phone call and email based on your settings. Parents/guardians can view and edit their contact settings through the Home Access Center.
To receive timely emergency communications, we strongly encourage families to enable text notifications. For most people, this is the fastest way to receive and view important messages. Here’s how:
- From the HAC main menu, select the “registration” tab to view your contact settings
- Select the “edit” button to change your contact settings
- To enable text message notifications, enter your cell phone number in the SMS/text message field
- Select the “save” button
