Come to Greece!!Greece is home to more than 2,000 islands. The popular sports are skiing, sailing, soccer, basketball, etc. Greece borders the Aegan Sea, Ionian Sea, and the Mediterranean sea. An interesting site is the Parthenon. A museum to visit is the Greek National Museum. Some major holidays are the yearly village festival and Easter.

The dominant language of Greece is Greek. A saying is Kaliméra which means good morning. Another saying is Kalispéra which means good evening.

The Greek Government

The type of government is a presidential parliamentary republic. It means a government that operates under a parliamentary system of government.


The currency of Greece is the Euro. Its exchange rate is 1.3 U.S. dollars.
