6th graders are eligible to participate in cross country, wrestling, and track. Prior to the first practice/tryouts of any sport, a completed VHSL physical form needs to be turned in. Athletic physicals must be current, having been completed after May 1 of the current year. An athletic physical will be effective through June 30 of that academic year.

For new students transferring to Montevideo Middle School, registration is by appointment only. Contact the school at (540) 289-3401 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday - Friday for information regarding the enrollment process and to schedule an appointment with a counselor to complete the necessary paperwork.

The following information is required to enroll your child at Montevideo Middle School:

Birth Certificate (original if student has never attended a Rockingham County Public School)

Legal Papers (if applicable) (most recent custody, visitation, guardian ad litem, protective order, etc.)

Proof of Residency (click here for Residency Requirements)

Copy of IEP or Special Education Records (if applicable)
