Health Corner
Mini messages from RCH School- Based Health Center:
Watch out for sweets and high fat foods over the holidays. It is okay to enjoy yourself while spending time with family and friends, but too much unhealthy food can lead to stomach upset and abdominal pain. Don't forget to eat at least three servings of vegetables a day, whole grains and lean protein like chicken, fish and turkey. Come to the health center to learn more about how you can feed your body for a healthy and successful new year.
Fever, sore throat, stuffy nose, headache, muscle weakness, and body aches so bad you think you’re going to die…. Yep! Sounds like the Flu! Protect yourself and your family: get good rest, eat healthy foods, wash your hands regularly and come get your flu shot at the School-Based Health Center.
