Attention 5th Grade Families
Please join us to celebrate the promotion of our 5th Graders. Our celebration will take place at the First Baptist Church-1011 S. Indiana Ave, Goshen, IN
Tuesday, May 29, 2018
10:00-12:00 pm
The celebration will include the 5th Grade Choir, a speaker from First Baptist Church, and a special reading from Mrs. Overton. We will conclude the morning with cake and refreshments. Make sure you join us for this joyous celebration to mark this special milestone.
5th Grade Market Day
5th Graders have learned what a market economy is and want to apply a portion of it to support the community. The 5th grade students have been creating their own small businesses. They are making products or providing services in which your child has the opportunity to buy. All Waterford students will be able to purchase items or services costing $0.25 - $1.00.
If you permit your child to participate, please have them bring their money in an envelope with their name on it, the amount and please indicate that it is for the Market day. They may also give it to their teacher BEFORE school and they will keep it safe until they visit the market as a class. If your child does not have any money that afternoon, they may come just to LOOK at the items, depending on the teacher’s decision. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher or any of the 5th grade teachers at 533-6811.
Field Day
This year field day will be held on Friday, May 25th. Students will have the opportunity to play grade level games for an hour and assorted games in small groups for an additional hour.
**We are still looking for volunteers to lead some of the small group games. If you would be willing to donate your time, please contact the school.
