In different religions there are all types of rituals performed at different sacred places.
Different religions have different rituals that are performed on different life stages.
Why religions have rituals?
Rituals are the repetition of an ordered special kind of behavior, particularly relating to the religious beliefs of the community. Rituals include rites of passage which include initiation, birth, marriage and death rituals
Common Rituals Christians have are Baptism, Confirmation, and Marriage. In the catholic church there are particular devotions to Mary such as the Rosary.
Common Rituals Judaism have are Bar-mitzvah which is a rite of passage for a boy to celebrate his coming of age, Bat-mitzvah is the rite of passage for girls. The brit-milah is the rite of circumcision of baby males.
