Extended Day Program Newsletter
April 4, 2016
Dear Colleagues,
Welcome Back & Happy Spring to you all! I hope you had a restful break and had an opportunity to spend time with family and friends.
The week prior to break was an eventful week, showcasing the great work our amazing sites. From PI Day, to sphere hunts, and the grand Spring Jam performance! Many of our sites are transitioning into new enrichment clubs- we have a new STEM curriculum being implemented at VLMA and MV, Stomp at SM, and Hip Hop at VLMA. Body by Discipline returns to MH, Community Circle at SA continues, and the very successful Girls on the Run at LGAM and dance at LGA E are in full swing.
Our next sport is basketball! We will discuss the layout of the season at our Site Leader meeting this Friday and I will distribute all the permission slips/commitment forms. Due to bus shortages we need to switch our game days and I want to minimize the impact to your daily schedule so we will discuss on Friday.
Thank you for your commitment to students and families!
Have a great week!
Christine
