Mrs. Ewald’s and Ms. Keacher’s Reading and Language Arts
We will be continuing our Women’s History Month unit with a flyer project that highlights influential women in society. We will also be continuing synthesis practice with different sources on the topic of homework.
Mrs. Fowler’s Reading and Language Arts
MATH
Course 2 students will be reviewing on Tuesday for their Test on Wednesday/Thursday covering Geometric Figures. At the end of the week, the students will continue the Geometry unit with more of a focus on measurement.
Accelerated 7 students will be learning all about Functions this week. What is a function? How can we represent linear functions in different ways? We will also begin to talk about constant rate of change, slope, and direct variation.
SOCIAL STUDIES
Social studies classes will continue to prepare for the Constitution Test. Students received, completed, and went over answers to the study guide last week and will continue to review and prepare for the test in class. The test will be on Thursday, March 12.
SCIENCE
After debriefing from our field trip to the Shedd Aquarium, students will learn about different types of mutations. In addition, a study guide will be given out for our next assessment on Tuesday, March 17.
