If a student has lost their ID Badge, please replace it in the front office (it does cost money to replace an ID Badge).
If a student has forgotten their ID Badge, the consequence is last in line at lunch and no Snack Bar.
NEW
Students will be charged for an extensive number of temporary badges! Please be sure to use and wear your issued ID Badge.

Hello Thunderhawks!
Welcome back from spring break! I hope everyone had a chance to relax and have some fun over the break. This last quarter is going to fly by.
On Tuesday, we will review our grade level and school expectations to ensure that we have a successful 4th quarter.
You are starting fresh this quarter with ZERO missing assignments. Let’s do our best to stay on top of this so we will have zero missing assignments at the end of the year!
6th graders, you all get to play sports in 7th grade! Information about fall sports for next year will be coming out soon and this will apply to YOU! If you’re interested in playing a sport, please be paying attention to the announcements.

Hello Thunderhawks!
When we return from Spring Break, we will begin the year’s whole class novel, Hatchet. We will be reading the entire story in class. As we work through the reading and discussion of the novel, we will complete activities, quizzes, writings, and projects. Hatchet is one of our favorite units, and we are looking forward to sharing this timeless classic with our students!

Literacy
When we return from Spring Break, students in literacy will be finishing up their Literature Circles and working as a group to create a book trailer using WeVideo on their chromebooks. These are lots of fun to view and see just how creative the students are. This project will be a group grade and count in the test/project category.

6th Grade Math
Hello Thunderhawks,
The rest of this month we will be working on Unit 9. We will be learning about Angles and triangles.
The number of students not doing weekly homework notes has started to increase. Please check your student’s weekly canvas module if you have questions on when homework is due. If they have headphones in their backpack they can even do homework notes at the end of class if they finish their work early. If you have questions about homework or any other assignments, please contact your student’s math teacher.
FInally, if you would like to help donate to our classroom glue shortage, please check out our Amazon wishlist. Any donations would be appreciated.

Hey ThunderHawk families! We finished up our unit on Central America, and now students will be focusing on our LAST Western Hemisphere Geography region! We cannot believe we are starting our study on the continent of South America. Throughout the month of March, students will be studying the country of Brazil.
