Burro Basics 2019-2020
Burrolibrary Basics to keep you ahead!
Here to Help!
How to Access the Library
Must have a hall pass.
All students must have a E-pass, an electronic pass that teachers fill out. Students who arrive at the library without both pass will be sent back to class.
Access to the library is available for students who need to:
- check-out or check-in a book
- research question
- Computer use & printing for class
- quiet study
- small group work for class
- using craft supplies for presentation purposes
Time Limit for students is for no more than one block.
No Food or Drink in the library.
No Phone Calls or Face-timing in the library. Technology use is for educational purpose and must not disrupt the learning environment.
Before Schoology, Infinite Campus, or Office 365 works, you must reset your Password
How to access your school courses online
Using a "Google" link to Schoology will not allow you access to the correct Schoology Portal. Also, using your personal email to Schoology, will not give you access to 2019-2020 Schoology at Hillsboro.
If you are still unable to login, check the Schoology Help Link down below.
Access to Wifi
Use the schools.mnpsk12.wifi access and login with your MNPS credentials. This is the most reliable wifi. On most apple products you will need to "trust" the credentials to proceed.
username is: Your first name + initial of your last name + last 5 digits of your employee ID
Password is: the new password you created after you did the password reset.
Access to Databases
Most Databases are found on www.burrolibrary.com
Most of them work automatically at school. If not you will either use your Limitless Libraries account or Hillsboro for both the username and password.
Laptop Won't let me Log-in
When you can't login
If your password is expired email Gillian.Hutchinson@mnps.org and she will reset it for you.
If your laptop is not picking up the WIFI, press the blue FN (function) key and the Blue Wireless Tower at the top right at the same time.
If you know your password is fine, then it could be a few of these problems:
- Try to restart the computer
- try to restart the computer with a yellow network cord plugged in.
