Egg Harbor Township High School
Week of November 1, 2020
A Message From Our Principal
Greetings,
Thanks to all the staff that made the hybrid students welcome to the building. Shout out to all the teachers and staff for a job well done. A big shout out as well to our parents and guardians for their help and support. As we continue to welcome our students each day we are still reminded to mask up before entering the building and continue to stay socially distanced.
Speaking of masks, all hybrid students received a gray mask during their physical education classes. Masks have also been donated by our local Lowes as a great gesture to help in support of not spreading the Covid -19 virus.
As you are aware we have a very short week. Thursday and Friday is on the calendar as days off for students, as our teachers virtually attend the NJEA teachers convention. Enjoy a restful few days and a long weekend.
Next week Barksdale photographers will be at the High School for pictures.
Group A will have pictures taken on November 10 & 11 from 7:37 - 12:20.
Group B will have pictures taken on November 12 & 13 from 7:37 - 12:20
All virtual students will have an opportunity to have their yearbook picture taken on November 11 & 12 from 3pm to 6 pm. These students will enter the building by the athletic entrance and may arrive during those times. Please make sure masks are worn.
Once again, have an awesome weekend! Until next week, stay safe, be well, continue to dream of the possibilities ahead of us, be happy and smile at someone!
Ms. Connor

Noche Latina
This past Thursday, October 29th the 5th Noche Latina event took place virtually. More than 20 families attended this educational night. Bilingual Coordinators Jenny Dilks , Paola Florido and families experienced an interactive presentation where they learned about all the information that the School District has been sending to all families since September. Information was condensed and explained in Spanish with opportunities for parents to ask questions and express concerns. This presentation is now published as a resource in the Recursos para Padres website for all Hispanic parents to access. The Education Association of EHT sponsored free pizzas for all families that attended.
Please find some pictures of the event and a link to the website.
