I & II Timothy Women's Study
Weeks of November 10th & 17th
A Note from Amy
Dear Ladies,
Attached to this email you will find our study packet for Titus. This is the lesson we will study on Monday, November 24th. Yes, it’s the week of Thanksgiving and I know many of you are already thinking, “There’s no way I have time to go to study that week.”. But I encourage you to make the time!
In the busyness of our lives, I know it can be hard to prioritize our time together, especially in a holiday week. However, in my own experience, it’s the times when I DON’T prioritize the study of the Word and fellowship of believers that I get overwhelmed with the other things of life. Somehow, God extends my minutes and everything fits in… and I get the blessing of filling my spiritual and emotional cups by being with women who share my desire to know the Lord and walk more deeply with Him.
The study is a little different than what we’ve been doing. You’ll still Observe, Interpret, and Apply, but it includes some new skills and strategies to try out!
I hope I’ll see you there. I’m looking forward to leading us in a study of the book of Titus and looking more deeply at what it means to lead a life of godliness.
Warmest regards,
Amy
Homework for Monday, November 24th
If you were able to make it to class on November 10th, you received a packet to study the book of Titus. In case you were unable to make it, it is attached to the email that had the link to this update. We will study Titus together on Monday, November 24th.
Upcoming Dates to Consider
Service Opportunity-Week of November 17th
This is just a reminder that we will NOT meet together on Monday, November 17th as this will be the week for our service opportunity. If your group has not sent an email to Erica about how you will be serving together, please remember to do this.
Potluck-Monday, November 24th
In order to celebrate the end of our Fall Semester together, we will be having a potluck during our last class. Please bring something you enjoy to share with our group of women.
Together Ministries to provide Christmas gifts for 50 children
If you are interested, here's how you can help parents who live in the Franklin low income housing area to provide Christmas for their children.
How to help:
· The parents will do the shopping, but we need cash donations to purchase gift cards for each family (We are hoping to provide $40/child.)
· If paying by check, please make checks payable to FBC. These funds can then be placed in the envelopes on the small group tables on Monday, November 24th.
