Website Makeover Coming Soon!
Our entire school webpage will be getting a makeover! At the beginning of the year, I mentioned Weebly.com. If you have not taken the time to sign up for a Weebly account, go ahead and take that first step. It is free to create an account. I will be hosting some brief afterschool (optional) work sessions soon that will give you a chance to work on your website and ask questions. So, start thinking about what you would want your classroom website to look like and the information it will contain.
The Weebly Beginners Guide video below is excellent, but it is one hour long.
A big shout out goes to Jennifer Malone, Christina Terry, Dawn Ryan, Kellie Lee, and Shannon Carroll for publishing a Weebly website. Their sites are linked to our school website, so take a look. If anyone else has made a website and you haven't shared the link with me yet, please let me know.
These new chapter books are ready to be checked out.
8 Class Pets + 1 Squirrel / 1 Dog= CHAOS by Vivian Vande Velde Twitch, the school yard squirrel, has really gotten himself into a bind this time. Can Green Eggs and Hamster, Sweetie the Library rat, and the other school pets save Twitch from the crazed Cuddles? In this laugh-out-loud funny chapter book, a group of small animals manage to turn an elementary school into a real zoo. This would be a great read aloud!
