The Character Committee
YO YO Sales Extended - NED"S MIndset Mission
NED's Mindset Mission is a character education program that centers around three important messages that have lifelong relevance: Never give up, Encourage others and Do your best. During the assembly, students will learn about the importance of these three life skills while also enjoying storytelling, magic, humor and yo-yo tricks.
Mindset Mission yo-yos are still available for purchase at school to support the free show and message. If your student has already purchased a yoyo, here is an important link to help them get off to a good start with proper string length adjustment, click here.
Additionally, here are a couple of our favorite follow up home resources from the Mindset Mission website. You may want to use these with your child as they are designed to go hand in hand with the program.

Home Visits!
Hello Harmony families!
The school year is in full swing, and as your principal, I’d like to thank you again for the wonderful privilege of educating your student.
In Harmony’s continued effort to build stronger relationships between our campus and your family, I encourage you to take advantage of our Home Visit program.
Harmony’s home visit program is nearly as old as the school system itself, beginning in 2001, just one year after the first campus opened its doors. If you volunteer for this service, your student’s teacher will come by your home on an evening of your choosing to provide you with educational resources and answer any questions.
Harmony’s teachers and staff have seen home visits improve the communication between families and their campus. Students realize their parents and teachers are working together for their benefit, often resulting in improved classroom behavior and academic success.
Harmony teachers visit more than 7,000 homes each year, and we want to make sure your student receives this helpful tool. To receive your own home visit, please fill out this form below. Please sign up before Aug. 10 and your name will go into a drawing for a book basket. If you have any questions, please email hgregory@harmonytx.org

Sincerely,
Sofieh Hopovac
Volunteer Registration
Start the sign-up process by clicking here: https://harmonyps.ezcommunicator.net/edu/harmonyps/ezcomm/VolunteerRegistration.aspx?app=0 and selecting a Username and Password for your volunteer account. These are the credentials you use to sign-in to your account after you have been approved to volunteer. Your Username can be your Email Address but is not required to be. Your Password must be a minimum eight characters, using letters and numbers only. Do not use any special characters.
Have You Registered Before?
If you registered as a volunteer last school year, or if you received an email from our RELATRIX ezVolunteer system in the past 12 months You Already Have An Active Volunteer Account. You DO NOT need to register again. In fact, all that will do is create more work to sort through your old and new registrations. Our system will notify you when to Re-Verify your volunteer profile and go through another background check.
By completing this registration process you acknowledge and agree that Harmony Public Schools will run a criminal background check as a condition to approving you to volunteer. Furthermore, you acknowledge and agree that Harmony Public Schools may periodically re-run such criminal background check for as long as you continue volunteering in our schools.
If for any reason we do not approve you to volunteer we will notify you and if you request, provide the information used in making our decision along with details of how to correct any inaccurate background results with the credit reporting agency that provided them to us.
If you are unwilling for us to perform a background check do not proceed with this registration.
