A Principal's Perspective

What a gift of music this morning from the kids during Sing-A-Long! That one song from Polar Express is what it is all about! Are you supposed to cry in a Sing-A-Long? Very touching to hear the sweet voices of children. Thank you Gail for organizing a great morning. Thanks also to the CAMP team and Kathryn for helping with the Sing-A-Long. What a great joy to see David as well. Good times!!

As we finish off the first semester, I just want to thank each of you for the contributions you not only make to your students but to our GP staff as well. We have worked hard together to provide a quality, enriching education for our students while fostering a fun, nurturing learning environment as well. Yes, they can both go together and you as the staff are a model of how that can be done. However, it is time for a well deserved break to renew, relax, and enjoy our family during the holiday season. As we begin this season of celebrations and gatherings, please keep those that are going through tough times in your thoughts and prayers. Especially our very own Susan Wells and her girls. She is a great example for us to remember the importance of family, friends and living each day to the fullest.

May your holiday season be magical! I look forward to starting a new 2015 school year in January!

Happy Holidays!
