Each year in May, CCA holds an election for our Board of Directors. There will be 3 open positions. 2 of the requirements to be considered as a CCA Board member are:

1. Potential candidates must attend a minimum of two (2) regular CCA Board meetings during the nine (9) months prior to the April Board meeting. The February & March Board meetings are eligible meetings for this requirement.

2. Potential candidates must interview with at least one (1) current Board member prior to the nomination form submittal deadline (between March 27 - April 10, 2023).

The candidate forms and biography forms will be shared in March 2023. For the complete Election Procedure Packet please see attached.

We will discontinue live streaming our monthly PTO meetings in March 2023. Our goal is to have our meetings return to in-person community gatherings where we can get to know each other and share ideas. Our agendas and minutes will continue to be available online for those who are unable to attend.

We want to hear from you! What is going well? What questions do you have? Interested in joining a committee or getting involved some other way? Please let us know here and we will work to address your questions in upcoming newsletters and/or in 1:1 communication. Fill out this form!

Choir is back at CCA! We are planning on starting rehearsals on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, from 3:30 (or dismissal time) until 4:30 pm through the rest of the semester. If you are interested in signing your child or children up in grades 1st-4th please fill out this registration form and pay the $50 registration fee on Revtrack per child prior to February 22, 2023. Parents, each year we put together a slideshow video of our 8th graders and show it at graduation. We are asking that you please fill out this form in order to submit a baby/young child photo of your 8th grader and a current photo of them to be shared at graduation. If you have any questions, please contact Rachel Brooks at rbrooks@cherrycreekacademy.org.

Each year, the Cherry Creek Academy Foundation awards a one-time academic scholarship of $1,000 to a high school senior who attended CCA. If you know a graduating senior who is interested in applying for the 2023 scholarship award to support future studies, please encourage them to make sure their current email address is on file in PowerSchool at My.cherrycreekschools.org. CCA alumni graduating in 2023 should expect to receive instructions via email by March 17 on how to apply for the CCA Foundation scholarship. Seniors no longer in the Cherry Creek District remain eligible and may email their contact information to scholarshipcommittee@cherrycreekacademy.org

The Multicultural Festival Date has been released: Friday, March 10th at 5:30 pm.

And we are looking for the following:

Chair for Multicultural Festival: Learn the ropes and chair the event!

Country Leads - Lead a country and receive double volunteer time! We will provide reimbursements for countries and will limit the total number of countries!

Performers: Come perform your talents and represent a country! Maximum 9 performers
