September 4th Weekly Newsletter
Second Grade
Weekly Happenings
We are really enjoying getting back into the swing of things with our students, and also getting to know our new students! We have spent a lot of time reviewing procedures, getting reacquainted with each other and building our school family community. Now we are really starting to dive into our 2nd grade curriculum and routines.
Next week we will begin meeting with students in Pathways to Reading small groups and we will begin sending baggie books home. Please have your student read every evening and send back the baggie book each day. If it is a longer book, students may keep them at home until they finish. We will also begin testing sight words every Thursday. We will send home a copy of 1st quarter sight words and you can also find them on our website.
