UPCOMING EVENTS
- Attention to 7th Grade Parents: A recent audit has found several students are missing the required documents for school enrollment. Please check to see if your student has brought home a letter from the health unit requesting copies of missing requirements. These records are needed ASAP.
- Picture Retakes will be held on November 4, 2019 between 8:30 am-11:30 am
SPORTS
- BCMS Basketball Wildcats will be in action again on Monday, November 4, at home versus Montgomery County.
- BCMS Wildcats Boys Basketball teams will practice beginning after 5th bell today.
- Congratulations to the Girls and Boys Cross Country team for their Regional performance on Saturday, October 26. Both teams have qualified to compete at the Kentucky High School State Cross Country Championships this Saturday, November 2. The Girls won the Region with the best score recorded in School history. The following received medals from Bath County: Isabella Copher 1st, Amelia Oldfield 4th, Jaycie Bussell 6th, and 8th Grader Madison Mabior 8th. Rounding off the Lady Cats were 8th Grade Jaelyn Gibson 15th, 7th Grade Izzy Hughes 17th, and 10th Grade Mallory Brashear 35th. Taylor Purvis received a medal for his 7th place finish followed by: Sammy Bodine 10th Place, Hunter Middleton 11th, 8th Grade Arturo Perez 14th, David Walden 40th, Diego Tovia 42nd, and Noah Rogers 58th. Congratulations again to our Cross Country Cats!

SCHOOL NEWS
- Archery will practice again on Monday, November 4, due to 4-H commitments.
- Congratulations to Maura Boggs who competed in the Composition event for Academic Team Monday and to Blake Baber, Alexis Armstrong, Twyla Wilson, and Jacob Hatfield for staying after school yesterday to compete in the final Academic Team Written Assessment Competition. These students should be commended for their dedication to the team.
- The 2nd bus for the 8th Grade DC trip has been started. We have about 30 seats to fill. If you want to go and haven't made your deposit see Mrs. Beth McNabb before Tuesday before Thanksgiving. If parents want to go, deposits need to be made at this time also.
- STLP is offering a technology Help desk for teachers, staff, and students who need help with technology issues. Teachers and staff please check your email for a form that you can fill out anytime you need tech help.
- Any Beta Student interested in running for club offices, please sign up outside Ms. Ballman's door. Beta service hours log sheets are also available outside Ms. Ballman's door. Remember you need 15 hours to stay in Beta.
- The 6th Grade is sponsoring a Bake Sale on Thursday, October 31. All proceeds will go to benefit a student who has lost a family member recently. Please donate for this cause. We will sale pop, water, chips, and baked goods (homemade or store bought goods). Everything will be 50 cents. All items need to go to Mr. Hunt or Mrs. Bloomfield.
- 2020 Yearbooks are on sale! Cost is $25.00. Please see Mrs. Colwell if you would like to purchase a yearbook.
- Red Ribbon Week Begins October 28- November 1. Thursday-Stay out of drugs...jump into a good book! Dress up as your favorite book character. Remember you must follow the schools dress code. No Masks Remember you must follow the schools dress code.
